We are specialized in helping designers to turn their ideas into successful products. Since conception, we work closely with the designers and support customers in the study of the final product, in terms of feasibility, performance and budget compliance, suggesting and devising the best possible solutions to meet their needs.

MOLD DEVELOPMENT AND PROTOTYPING

The thermoforming  process requires the development of moulds dedicated to the product, this phase of development is strategic and of fundamental importance to contain costs, speed up time and guarantee maximum creativity. For these reasons, TERMOFORMATI ITALIA develops and produces the moulds within its own structure, in a dedicated workshop equipped with CNC machines and the most modern and efficient technologies available.

LAMINATING

The laminating process is the process by which the fabrics are combined with the padding before moulding. It is a very delicate process and requires the maximum attention both in terms of choice of glues, melting times and temperatures. The ability to manage the lamination process internally allows us to choose the most suitable adhesives for the purposes (we can use very light and breathable glues up to highly resistant gluing systems for heavy duty uses), to use different support materials and to apply membranes. Finally, the totally verticalized process allows us to be able to provide a personalized and qualitatively controlled laminating service even in small quantities.

THERMOFORMING

Thermoforming is the process by which we shape materials. Depending on the needs and the materials we can mould the products with hot moulding processes or cold moulding process after pre-heating the piece. The padding materials we work are polyurethane foam or polyester wadding. The maximum moulding dimensions are 3000 x 1500 mm. We have 16 thermoforming lines of different sizes to meet the most different requirements.

CUTTING AND FINISHING

Once moulded, thermoformed products require a cutting and finishing process to eliminate excess scrap or create cuts or holes necessary for the functionality of the products. This processing is also carried out within our structure thanks to different technologies:

  • hollow-punch cut up to 3000x1500 mm

  • LASER cut up to 3000x2000mm

LOGISTICS STORAGE AND SHIPMENT

Last but not least, our structure enjoys large warehouses for the storage and handling of goods, being able to guarantee even large volumes of production, a correct and safe preservation of products and raw materials and a precise, fast and reliable logistics.
